A.E. Marty
Les Columbes
Pochoir
SOLD
From La Gazette du Bon Ton No.8(1924)Plate 41 - one of Poiret's 'late career' creations just before he fell on hard times depicts the famous lampshade tunic now morphed into a multi-tiered 'fall' and the signature turban reduced to tiara. Still the Poiret elegance is, as always, centre stage in this poignant Marty rendering. Approx. size: H.9.625in X W.7.5in; H.24.4cm X W.19.1cm
