Nice early piece from La Gazette du Bon Ton (Issue #3, March 1914, Plate 28). This dramatic rendering illustrates a Paul Poiret creation just prior to WWI, when Poiret was the undisputable "King" of haute couture. This image is highly stylized which puts full focus on the provocative dress design.
