Silvano ('Nano') Campeggi An American in Paris Mixed Media on Canvas Original acrylic/mixed media on canvas for the Vincente Minnelli 1952 classic. Most posters for this film consisted of composite images (i.e. various mixes of stars Gene Kelly, Leslie Caron, the Eiffel Tower, The Moulin Rouge, cityscapes, etc.) This stunning classic image was one of several Campeggi "variations-on-the-theme" that were ultimately used for both the original and re-release posters throughout Europe.
