This is an original 87 year old, hand-coloured pochoir from the July 1914 insert to Gazette du Bon Ton - a sampling of the new fashion breakthroughs of the era, where the demure image of the previous decade, shown in the faces, is in contrast to the fashion explosion of the coming decade, predicted by the "liberated" head dress.
