This is a genuine, 81 year old, hand colored pochoir print produced as Plate #71 of Issue #9 - of Gazette du Bon Ton - 1920. The artist, A. Iacovleff, illustrates in the sultry style typical of the 1920's with a hint of the romantic risque - "L'Heure de Rendezvous" features a luxurious wrap-around "afternoon coat" designed by the famous house of Paul Poiret.
On crème artist's laid paper in good condition, slight tanning around edges typical of vintage Gazette du Bon Ton works; lower left corner: the words "Bon Ton" are pressed out, but this is marginally noticeable and has no impact on the overall image. Rich russet color.
