This is plate-signed, hand coloured pochoir print from the highly collectible Gazette du Bon Ton, the rare War Issue #8-9, Summer 1915, Plate #5. A tour de force of fashion illustration! Lepape lines up al the major designers' creations at the Longchamps raceway, where traditionally the latest in haute couture joined in on the strut of the horses. (N.B. All copies of this double-sized Bon Ton pochoir are centre-folded. The fold mark on the scan is mainly light reflection, and only faintly noticeable in real life.)
