A genuine hand coloured, artist signed pochoir print from Modes et Manières d'Aujourd'hui: 1919, Plate VIII. Limited to only 300 copies, the "M&M" audience was the very wealthy. Each annual issue featured text of poetry, fashion and entertainment, illustrated in a series of 12 pochoirs. Each edition was devoted exclusively to one artist. This image begs to be viewed in "blow-up format" - click the picture one more time and marvel at the background and all the fine details. The gouache on her skirt ("jupe") has been built up so intensively that it is truly "luminous". Excellent condition.
