This is a hand-colored plate-signed pochoir produced as Plate #18 of issue #3 of the Gazette du Bon Ton - 1922 showing loungewear by de Beer. Here the artist gives a nod to the new concept of Cubism with the flat playful angles of the cigarette table, with its distorted perspective. It was Lepape's artistic mission to relay all aspects of the New Perspective that the 1920s were producing.
